Unzyme Laboratories today broke ground on the Unzyme Evolution Center, our largest and most comprehensive research facility to date. Located in the pristine wilderness of Finnish Lapland, the Evolution Center represents a new paradigm in human enhancement research infrastructure.
A Vision Made Concrete
The ceremonial first foundation was laid at a site 200 kilometers north of Rovaniemi, in a location selected for its combination of isolation, natural beauty, and geographic stability. The Evolution Center will occupy over 50 hectares when complete, with construction proceeding in phases through 2027.
“The Evolution Center embodies our vision for the future of human enhancement research,” said Erik Lindqvist, CEO. “Here, participants will not merely undergo procedures—they will live, work, and evolve within an environment designed to support transformation at every level.”
Facility Overview
The Evolution Center will integrate research, residential, and wellness functions into a cohesive campus:
Research Complex:
- 24 specialized laboratories for neural, cardiovascular, and pharmaceutical research
- Advanced imaging center with next-generation scanning capabilities
- Integrated surgical suites for enhancement procedures
- Long-term observation facilities for extended study protocols
Residential Campus:
- 500-bed participant housing with private accommodations
- Family units for participants in extended programs
- Recreational facilities including indoor athletics, pools, and gardens
- Community spaces designed to foster connection among participants
Wellness Integration:
- Holistic health services complementing enhancement protocols
- Nutritional programming optimized for individual enhancement pathways
- Mental health support throughout the transformation journey
- Post-procedure recovery environments inspired by Nordic spa traditions
Why Lapland
The Finnish Lapland offers unique advantages for long-term enhancement research:
- Climate: The Arctic environment provides natural thermal variability for cardiovascular research
- Isolation: Distance from urban centers ensures privacy and minimizes external variables
- Stability: Finland’s political and economic stability guarantees operational continuity
- Access: Despite remoteness, the site connects to our Helsinki headquarters via dedicated air link
The extreme seasonal light variations—endless summer days and winter darkness—also enable research into circadian adaptation that would be impossible elsewhere.
Community Partnership
We have worked closely with regional authorities and Sámi communities to ensure the Evolution Center respects both the landscape and the peoples who have lived here for millennia. Our commitment includes:
- Environmental impact minimization through sustainable construction
- Local hiring priorities for non-specialized positions
- Cultural consultation on all aspects of facility design
- Economic development partnerships benefiting regional communities
Enrollment Opening
Participants interested in Evolution Center programs may register interest beginning Q3 2025. Initial cohorts will focus on our flagship long-term enhancement protocols, with broader programming expanding as facility sections come online.
Priority consideration will be given to participants currently enrolled in Unzyme Laboratories programs who demonstrate commitment to sustained enhancement journeys.
Building Tomorrow
The Evolution Center represents more than a facility—it represents our belief that human enhancement is not a medical procedure but a way of life. Here, participants will not simply be enhanced; they will be supported in becoming the fullest versions of themselves.
Construction has begun. Evolution awaits.
